The Polar Bears & Humans book represent important information about polar bear hunting, population changes, trophy hunting, problem bears and the skin trade. This information must be presented to governments, decision makers, organizations and to the public, to secure better protection of polar bears, reduce the demand / stop the trade of polar bear skins and trophies, and work for alternative income for native settlements – like small-scale ecotourism. This work might be time-consuming and not very visible, but it is still important for making changes in laws / bans on the trade and secure polar bears for the future. Learn more about polar bear conservation issues HERE. Updates and more details about this work will be given in the newsletters, or you can forward questions by email.
