The Alaskan wilderness is amazing and in autumn there are a some good rivers with fishing Grizzley bears. If the salmon run is good then also the bear photographic opportunities will be good, and I was happy to experience a more than average salmon run period. The weather in autumn might be challenging with heavy rain and freezing cold nights, but that’s make you feel alive! During a week with the Beta Nikon D5 I got the chance of testing this camera in action situation with close hunting Grizzley bears. This gave me some great moments with the wildlife, and also nice pictures. Don’t miss the backstage video from this assignment
This trip was also a test trip for future WildPhoto tours to this area with small groups, so let me know (on Facebook or email) if you are intereted in joining a trip to this amazing wilderness and bear area in September 2017. See more images from this assignment in my Image Bank.
